ETNOBOTANI: BELAJAR DARI PEMANFAATAN TUMBUHAN LIAR

Abstract


Abstrak. Pembelajaran biologi tidak selalu bersumber dari pembelajaran kelas. Belajar dari alam merupakan cara lain mempelajari sumber daya alam di sekitar. Etnobotani merupakan cabang ilmu biologi yang memungkinkan seseorang atau masyarakat etnis menggunakan tumbuhan di alam untuk keperluan manusia. Studi-studi yang relevan terkait dengan etnobotani kian hari semakin meningkat, sehingga artikel ini berusaha untuk mengulas bagaimana etnobotani dijadikan sebagai sumber belajar dari pemanfaatan tumbuhan liar untuk keperluan manusia atau masyarakat sekitar. Tahapan terdiri atas studi literatur, identifikasi judul artikel, skrining abstrak artikel, seleksi artikel lengkap, dan ulasan mini-review. Beberapa negara dengan jumlah spesies tumbuhan yang digunakan dan tujuan pemanfaatan tumbuhan disajikan dalam artikel mini-review ini. Terjadi peningkatan penggunaan tumbuhan sebagai pengobatan tradisional pada tahun 2021.

Kata kunci: adat istiadat; budaya; etnis; etnobiologi; tumbuhan obat.

 

Abstract. Biology learning does not always come from classroom learning. Learning from nature is another way of studying the natural resources around you. Ethnobotany is a branch of biological science that allows a person or ethnic community to use plants in nature for human purposes. Relevant studies related to ethnobotany are increasing day by day, so this article seeks to review how ethnobotany is used as a source of learning from wild plants for human or local community needs. The stages consist of literature study, identifying article titles, screening of article abstracts, selecting full articles, and mini-review reviews. Several countries with the number of plant species used and the intended use of the plants are presented in this mini-review article. There will be an increase in the use of plants as traditional medicine in 2021.
